Chapter VII Directions of Written and Field Test Sites
Article 33
Written examinee shall locate their designated desks and be seated when the preparatory ring goes off. Those failing to enter the test room within 15 minutes after the test begins shall be disallowed entry. Examinees may not leave the room within 45 minutes after the test begins but this restriction shall not apply to people taking online written tests.
Article 33-1
Those, who hold a certificate of disability, a disability certificate issued by the education authorities, or the result of identification of disability, shall apply to the certification administration agency for lengthening the duration of the written and field test by 20%.
Article 34
Examinees of the written tests shall enter the examination room by presenting their admission tickets along with a photo ID such as a national ID, passport, national insurance card, driver’s license, technician certificate, resident certificate or entry/exit permit that qualifies for the application for the certificate.
After being seated at their designated desks, examinees shall place their admission tickets and the photo ID specified in the preceding paragraph on the left front corner of the desktops or places instructed by the invigilator for further verification; Examinees shall verify the notes stuck on the margin of the answer sheets or the name, test registration number, job categories, level and test questions and other information on the answer cards and, in an event of any data inconsistency or seal angle not being sealed properly, examinees shall report it to the invigilator immediately.
Regarding the entry of the examination room, the written tests examinees shall behave in accordance with the following regulations:
1.Prepare one’s own stationary for the test, and shall not ask to borrow it from others during test.
2.All items shall be placed in accordance with the indications of invigilators, except for stationary to be used for the test.
3.Examinees are not allowed to carry mobile phones, wearable devices, or other devices and equipment with information transmission, sensing, camera, or recording functions with them. The devices or equipment shall not be placed in the drawers, tables, or chairs, or at the side of the seats; The same restrictions apply even if such devices or equipment are turned off.
Article 34-1
Those who have registered for two or more tests of different job categories 、classes or items held at the same time or same test site, the job categories which the examinees are unable to take will be listed as absent from the class or item of the job category.
Article 35
Before or during the written test, an examinee who commits any of the following shall have his/her test participating qualification cancelled and have his/her eligibility to participate in tests withheld.
1.Having a imposture examinee;
2.Holding forged or altered proof of identity
Before or during the written test, an examinee who commits any of the following shall have his/her test participating qualification cancelled and his/her eligibility to participate in tests withheld.
1.Exchanging seats or test sheets or answer cards with others;
2.Using mobile phones, wearable devices or other information transmission, or any sensing, shooting, recording equipment and facility.
3.Failure to abide by the rules of the test site, not accepting the invigilator’s advice, and disrupting the overall order of the test site.
Examinee who commits any of the preceding two specified offences shall only be allowed to leave the test site after the stipulated time.
The written test score of an examinee who commits any of the following during the test shall be zero:
1.Deliver documents, reference materials, or write related articles or signals.
2.Take books, references, texts of relevant writing, or related signals.
3.Refuse to submit test questions or answer sheet (card).
4.Use tools inconsistent with test questions requirement.
5.Peek into the answer sheet (card) of others, allow others to peek into one’s own answer intentionally, or talk with one another.
6.Writes (copies) relevant texts, symbols on table, chair, stationary, body parts, test ticket or other places.
7.Borrowing stationery from others.
If an examinee is found to have committed any offense specified in paragraph 1, 2 or any of the preceding paragraph, after the completion of the written test, his/her written test score shall be counted as zero.
Article 36
A 20-point deduction shall be imposed on written examinees found with one of the following situations:
1.Having used the seat and therefore the answer card of another examinee throughout the entire test;
2.Opening or damaging the sealed corner of the answer sheets (card) or cutting or smearing the answer sheets (card);
3.Tearing of the tag attached to the test sheets, or writing his or her name or putting down other texts or symbols on the answer sheets;
4.Leaving the test room within 45 minutes after the test begins;
5.Carrying mobile phones, wearable devices or other equipment and devices with information transmission, sensing, shooting and recording functions, or placing the above devices in the drawers, tables, chairs or seats during the test.
6.Self-preparing tools and other items which do not follow the instructions of the Invigilator.
Article 36-1
A 10-point deduction shall be imposed on written examinees who is discovered to have committed one of the following situations:
1. Opening and reading the test sheets and beginning to answer the questions before the beginning bell goes off;
2. Continuing taking the test after the test time has ended or not leaving the test room right after delivering the test sheets;
3. Having used the wrong seat and therefore the answer card of another examinee but realized the mistake and then made the correction immediately;
4. Carrying blank paper into the test room;
5. Reentering the test room without the permission of the invigilator;
6. Smoking, chewing gum, eating betel nuts or drinking alcoholic beverages in the test field; or
7. Copying the test questions or answers and leaving the test site before the end of the allotted time.
Article 37
Written examinees shall turn in both the answer sheets (card) and the test sheets to the invigilator before leaving the test room and reentry shall be disallowed.
Article 38
During field tests, examinees shall enter the examination room on time. Those failing to enter the examination room within 15 minutes after the test begins shall be refused entry to the examination room. For tests conducted in stages or at different sites, other than those of the first stage (at the first site), the other examinees are also required to enter the examination room on time or shall be refused entry. But if the examination entry time is specified otherwise on the field test instructions, those instructions shall be followed.
For examinees of field tests adopting written tests of non-choice questions or computer-based tests, regulations from Article 33-1 to the preceding Article shall apply. However, for tests adopting manual grading, the regulations of Article 16 shall apply.
Article 39
Prior to entering the field test examination room, the examinee shall submit test tickets, field test examination notices, ID documents and their own tools to invigilators for inspection, forbidden equipment, accessories, drawings, mobile phones, wearable devices or other equipment and devices with functions of information transmission, sensing, lenses or recording shall not be brought into the examination room.
If uniforms are required, those not wearing the required uniforms shall be disallowed entry and are considered having failed the test.
Article 40
To take field tests, examinees shall take position in the designated spot in accordance with their test position numbers and place their test admission, field test notification and proof of identity in the designated location for verification.
Examinees having questions about the machines, equipment, tools or materials that the certification administration agency provides shall raise their questions immediately. No questions may be raised after the test begins.
When questions are raised as stated in the preceding paragraph, invigilators or markers shall solve the problems immediately.
Article 41
Field examinees shall abide by the regulations invigilators or markers have explained.
When discovering any examinees’ intention to cause trouble, hinder the peace of the test field, disrupt the test order or commit any irregularities, invigilators or markers shall instantaneously advise and prevent as well as process in accordance with regulations provided in Article 48.
Invigilators or markers shall report and request the certification administration agency conducting a field test to dispose of any examinee who commits events specified in the preceding paragraph refuses to obey advice; the agency shall report and request the district police station to handle particularly serious violations.
Article 42
Certification administration agency of invigilation, invigilators or markers shall determine the beginning and end of field tests according to each test questions. Examinees may not make their own decisions to start early or extend the test time.
Article 43
Field examinees shall take safety precautions when operating machines and equipments.
Article 44
Examinees causing malfunctions to the machines and equipments used in field tests due to negligence during operation must eliminate the malfunctions on their own and no extra test time shall be given.
Article 45
Field examinees shall operate the machines and equipments used in the test with care. Those damaging the machines and equipments intentionally shall be held responsible for the damages.
Article 46
During breaks from the test, field examinees shall place their own tools and work pieces according to the instructions of invigilators or markers.
Article 47
Field examinees shall turn in the finished assignment, workpieces and remaining materials to invigilators or markers when the test is over; same for those who leave in the middle of the test. Those who have turned in the said objects and left disallowed reentry.
Article 48
Before or during the field test, an examinee who commits any of the following offences shall have his/her test participating qualification cancelled and his/her eligibility to participate in tests withheld.
1.Having a imposture examinee;
2.Holding forged or altered proof of identity
Before or during the field test, examinee who commits any of the following shall have his/her test participating qualification cancelled and shall have his/her eligibility to participate in tests withheld.
1.Passing information or signals;
2.Assisting or asking others to do the test;
3.Exchanging workpieces or diagrams with others;
4.Carrying any tools, equipment, accessories, pictograms, mobile phones, wearable devices or other equipment and devices with information transmission, sensing, photographing and recording functions or other items which not comply with the requirements of the test.
5.Damaging the machines or equipment intentionally;
6.Failing to abide by these Regulations and disobeying the instructions of invigilators or markers and causing disturbances in and outside the test site;
The field test scores of examinee who commits any of following shall be regarded as disqualified:
1.Failing to turn in the work pieces, diagrams or test sheets that are to be turned in;
2.The disposal of self-owned tools, artifacts and related articles without desktop or following the instructions of the invigilator or marker.
3.Violating Article 23;
4.Knowing that an invigilator or marker has failed to recuse himself or herself as set forth in Article 27 but continuing to take the test.
An examinee found after the test to have been with one of the situations described in the subparagraphs of the preceding paragraph shall be considered failing the test.
For tests conducted in stages or at different stations, any person who has had his/her eligibility withheld shall not be able to further participate in tests conducted in stages or at different stations and his/her written test result shall be regarded as disqualified.
