2. The applicant should possess one of the following requirements:
A. Complete the national compulsory education (those who were born before 1956 or obtained elementary school diploma before 1970; those who were born after 1957 or obtained junior high school diploma after 1971), and they should also have one of the following documents:
1. They should have received with an accumulated of no less than 80 hours on baby-sitting training programs sponsored by each level of social education authorities in charge of or its recognized commissioned organizations and had passed the training, and they should have completed the program with certificate before year 2004.
2. They should have obtained certificate from class A, B, or C category of technical training on “training implementation project for professional on children welfare” before year 2004.
3. They should have completed the programs on baby-sitter, educational nursing, or child nursing on “professional training core program for children and youth welfare organization” after 2005, and have been awarded with certificate from the authorities in charge of. And such programs can only be sponsored as endorsed by the authorities in charge of according to article 19 of professional qualification and training regulations for children and youth welfare organization; besides, the sponsoring of such programs will only be awarded with certificate upon completion of its training
4. Those who have been received training from the endorsed relevant child education institutes from other educational authorities in charge of or program completion certificate from advanced class; for such training or advanced class there should not be less than 20 credits and the training hour should not be less than 360
B. Graduation of high school and above from department of child caring, home economics, and nursing relevant department
1. Pre-school and other educational category: home education and counseling, human development and family, home economics, home economic education, child education, children development and family education, child and family education, special (child) education, family education, teacher training for child education, and teacher training for kindergarten education and relevant department and graduate school
2. Public hygiene, nutrition, and nursing category: public hygiene, food nutrition (science), food nutrition and health care bio-tech, food and health care nutrition, health care nutrition (biotech), nutrition and health care department, nutrition and health care technology, nutrition (science), medical nutrition, nutrition medicine, food hygiene, nutrition, nursing, clinical nursing, community nursing, combined Chinese and western (medicine) nursing, delivery nursing, mid-wife (special), joint training of nursing and midwifery, early treatment and care (and caring), health caring (science), medical health caring and management, management of medical nursing, nursing skill, health caring (management), clinical and community nursing department and graduate school
3. Child care category: (infant) child care (skill), children development, child and family, family study and children development, (youth) child welfare, child welfare, baby welfare, and children caring department and graduate school
4. Social work category: (social policy) social work, social administration and social work, medical sociology and social work, social welfare, social well-being and service management, social work, social work and welfare administration, social science department and graduate school
5. Life application science category: life application and health caring, life (application) science, home economics, farm home economics, household chores of farm, integrated home economics, and fishing home economics department and graduate school
